The old mattress needed replacing. Then we got the idea to super-size to king (we are two long people, after all, and mornings find three of us waking up together). A joint effort has created this gorgeous, simple shellaced victorian ash frame with a firm new mattress and new linen (something for everyone) - Dan designed, built, sanded, shellaced, sanded shellaced etc etc whilst Teresa sorted most else in our lives (and the linen) for the month or so of creation.
