Happy Birthday, Nanna!

Swimming lesson

Daddy was able to join in a swimming lesson so our first photos. This one on a Saturday unlike our usual, less-busy Friday sessions.  Here's a rare smile from a little fella not overly enjoying himself this day.

Day at the beach

Goes to show.  I look at this beach, wind whipped murky water edged by think slabs of froth, and think "yuck!"  But Nicky, he thinks "giant bubble bath" and sets to togging off and running, splashing, squatting and kicking his way through the drifts.  These were taken at Caloundra a few weeks ago - followed by a cosy brekky out of the wind and then BBQ lunch with friends (with trains and chickens - what more could a day hold for little fella?!).

Trivia night

Raising money for Common Thread (ask Deb!), a fun night had by all... whilst our collective kids were having fun split between the two Winfield households.  I may have had a little too much of this almost-fine red!  Oh, and we didn't win.. respectfully mid-placed in the field.

Sleep?! Don't want to sleep. ..

The little fella sometimes doesn't get to sleep and has worked out that he can turn the uplight on and play with his toys. In the daytime this is no biggie and we occasionally come into find him asleep by the door. This time he had fallen asleep on the chair with the light still on ... after 'reading' one more book and didn't quite make it to the bed. What a cutie!
