Golden (pictured left) visiting also means that we get to catch up with Angie (pictured right) and The Nelsons who hosted a very pleasant sunset drinks and delicious meal on their deck this week.

Living high on the hog

We had the brief pleasure of catching up with The Greenman and a few of his mates last week. The German Club can be highly recommended - especially if you're keen to eat most of a pig's leg (pictured). The boys went a fair distance with these trotters.

Happy New Year! Bubbles all round

We hope that you have recovered well from whatever bubbles you indulged in this New Year's. As pictured, Nicholas was quite taken with them. As were Dan and I with the more bottled french variety that Jez and Sarah kindly shared with us (more below).

Visit to Amelie

...Oh, yes, and Sarah and Jez. Dan, Nicholas and I have just returned from a little holiday in Mackay to see Jez and Sarah's new (well, 11 weeks old) little one, Amelie. What a cutie.

A few outings, lots of hanging out, kiddy stuff, eating yummy food, the odd drink, chatting and relaxing. The perfect break. Thanks, guys.
