I know I'm supposed to be reading to Nicholas every day...but it's getting a little difficult when he keeps eating the material. He's loving his new "diet" of cardboard books - but it's a love expressed through soggy corners rather than dog-eared pages.

Matteo loves books - I am so pleased. Strangely, he's never eaten them like most babies do, but he'll spend ages turning the pages back and forward and staring deeply into the pictures.
