a tiny alien has arrived in our house

...so it is like a tiny little alien has just arrived in our house 'cause he doesn't say anything much, he pulls funny little faces, and requires lots of feeding and gets very quizzical if the food source may, in any way, be suspected of being in jeopardy.
I am still incredulous at how small he is - and how amazingly soft his skin is... The instinctual but basic movement of his tiny arms and legs that just move about without any real direction is always amusing... couple that with looks of indignation - like when he is getting washed... another is the 'something happened to that Nice Thing I was sucking on' - which is somewhere between consternation and deep thought - sometimes coupled with the little hands under the chin to give some gravity to the contemplation process... little mouth gapes as the wondering continues in the hope that The Nice Thing might return of its own accord... 1. Sweet little alien :)

Matteo used to sneer, one side of his little top lip raised, just before he started to feed. It must be so weird and scary for them to suddenly be in the world, so I suppose I can't blame him! The soft skin is wonderful, one of my friends was commenting on Matteo's today.
